Richard W. Pack, 87, of Jeannette died Monday November 27, 2017 in the Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born February 16, 1930 in McKeesport a son of the late Samuel and Anna Mae (Roebuck) Pack. Prior to his retirement he was employed as an Inspector for US Steel Duquesne Works with 33 years’ service. He is a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army. Richard loved working with his hands; he was an avid and gifted woodworker. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter Crystal Pack and two brothers Dalton H. Pack and Samuel Pack. Surviving are his wife of 55 years Donna (Marrow) Pack; children Delsan Zona and her husband, Michael, of North Huntingdon, Richard D. Pack and his wife, Marianne, of Irwin, Rita Conner and her husband, Jay, of Clarion, James W. Pack and his wife, Daina, of Millersville MD.; grandchildren Ken Zona, Krystal Rhoades and her husband Jay, Justin Brentzel, Michelle Zona, Jacob Brentzel, Anthony Pack and his wife, Jen, Stephanie Pack and Alexander Pack; great grandchildren Javin, Olivia, Ella, Torrie and Colton; a brother William Pack, of McKeesport and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Ott Funeral Home Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rob Marrow Richard’s nephew officiating. Interment will follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery, Irwin.
