Donald E. Labuda, 72, of Elizabeth died Monday January 15, 2018 at his home. He was born February 1, 1945 in Latrobe a son of the late George and Frances (Osenkowski) Labuda. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a steelworker for United States Steel. Donald was a veteran of the Army; he was a member of the Stephen Bayard Lodge #526 F and AM of Elizabeth. He was an avid hunter, a very outdoors person, liked softball and fishing. Surviving are his wife of 23 years Susan (Eichelberger) Labuda; two children Daniel Labuda and his wife, Debra, of Manor, Dianne Evangelista and her husband, Eric, of Scott Twp.; two grandsons David and Nicolas Evangelista; two sisters Dolores Gans and her husband Paul, of North Huntingdon and Denise King and her husband ,Joe, of Pittsburgh. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Ott Funeral Home Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Penn Lincoln Memorial Park North Huntingdon.
