Obituary for Frank Yurcisin

Frank P. Yurcisin, 91 of Adamsburg died Thursday March 22, 2018 at the UPMC East Hospital Monroeville. He was born September 15, 1926 he was the son of the late George J. and Mary (Simonak) Yurcisin. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a machine operator for the General Motors Fisher Body Plant of Dravosburg. He was formerly a member of St. Boniface Church of Penn and currently a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, in Irwin. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the US Army. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers Stephen, John, and George Yurcisin. Surviving are the following nieces and nephews; George Kenneth Yurcisin and his wife Carol of Adamsburg, Gregory S. Yurcisin of Irwin, Hempfield Twp. Timothy P. Yurcisin and his wife Terri of Irwin Hempfield Twp, Cynthia Harner and her husband Mark of TX, Amy J. Hunter and her husband Ralph of Greensburg, Kristin Brown and her husband Ruston of Irwin Hempfield Twp, Mark Yurcisin and Janet Jadach both of Connecticut, and many great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Ott Funeral Home, Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Avenue, Irwin. Parting Prayers will be held at the funeral home at 9:00 am. Monday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin. Interment will be in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
