Condolence: Genny was one of my favorite aunts. My earliest memory of her was visiting the recently married couple at what must have been their first home, an apartment in Jeannette, Pa. Later childhood memories include her babysitting me and my brother Jimmy at her home in Westmoreland City. I remember the wonderful pancakes she made us for lunch and listening to her tell us stories, including Aladdin and others. She was always there when Angeline, her sister and my mother, needed help. In later years they were constant companions on shopping outings. She was a good sister to my mother and faithful aunt to me and my brother. CSL
Condolence: My condolences on the passing of Mrs. Savani. She was my 6th grade teacher and principal at Circleville School. I can remember one day after school, my sister Cynthia and I had Brownies at the Circleville Firehall. It had rained that day and Cynthia and I walked across the baseball field that was there at the time, and she was yelling at us out the window of the school to get out of the mud. To late. Our shoes were caked with mud.
Mrs Savani was a wonderful educator. Fair to all her students. I was thrilled when it was my turn to ring the bell for the buses at the end of the day. She made such an impression on all students.
