Obituary for Wayne K. Mori

Wayne K.  Mori
Wayne K. Mori, 77, of Irwin, died Sunday September 30, 2018 in the UPMC East, Monroeville. He was born July 17, 1941 in Sutersville a son of the late Aldo and Vanda (Boniero) Mori. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a railroad switchman for United States Steel, Duquesne. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Irwin. Wayne was an avid boater and camper as well as a model train collector. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Gene Mori. Surviving are his wife Dolores (Nickle) Mori; two daughters Christine Sweeney, of North Irwin and Karen Mori, of Monroeville; grandchildren Danielle and Kayla McKelvey, Nick and Sarah Fucci. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Ott Funeral Home Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. Parting prayers will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christina Burial celebrated in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, North Huntingdon. The Mori family wishes to express their appreciation to the 3rd floor staff at UPMC East for the care they extended to Wayne during his time there.
