Ronald D.  Lutz
Ronald D. Lutz, 83, of Irwin, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at his home in North Huntingdon. He was born November 9, 1934 in Trafford, the son of the late Harris and Agnes (Swanson) Lutz. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War Conflict. He was retired from the Port Authority in 1993 after 26 years of service. He was a 50 year member of the Amalgamated Transit Union. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Irwin. His family was the most important thing to him and he loved to go fishing and playing poker. Ronald was preceded in death by brothers Russell, Wilbert and Harris Lutz and a sister Lorraine Lutz. Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Margaret “Peg” (Schweinsburg) Lutz; his sister Cookie Spritz (Larry), of Trafford; his children Peggy Bryant (Dale), of Kinsale, Virginia, Ronald Lutz Jr. (Denise), of Penn Trafford and Wendy Shipley (Brandon), of North Huntingdon; his six grandchildren Jim, Jen, Paul, Ryan, Ronnie and Olivia; his 11 great grandchildren Ella, Blakely, Gino, Drea, Talia, Gia, Nina, Rocco, Logan, Layla and Brayden and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Ott Funeral Home Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. in the Funeral home Chapel with Rev. Bruce Judy, his Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in the Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon.
