Helen P.  Dubaich (Kapelar)
Helen P. (Kapelar) Dubaich, 89, of Acme died Thursday May 24, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 7, 1929, in Cleveland OH. a daughter of the late John and Ella (Barlic) Kapelar. Prior to her retirement she was employed at the Shop and Save in Jeannette, and for many years at the former Serro’s Diner. She was a member of the SNPJ Lodge 87, of Herminie and the National AARP. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Michael Dubaich; a granddaughter Stacha Yoder; two brothers Henry and Frank Kapelar and two sisters Gertrude Helmetzi and Freda Kusmeriek; son-in-law Harry Doty. Surviving are two daughters Tracy Kiser and husband, John, of Acme and Dana Doty, of Columbus, OH; two grandchildren John Matrunics Jr. and his fiancée Danielle Diss and Jacob Kiser; one great grandson James Yoder; grandson-in-law Tim Yoder; a brother Robert Kapelar, of Yukon; a sister Barbara DelBene and husband Lou, of Delmont; sister-in-law Bernice Kapelar, of Irwin; a niece Shirley Kapelar, of Irwin; special in laws Harry and Martha Kiser, of Acme and several nieces and nephews. Entrusted with the arrangements is the Ott Funeral Home Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. To honor Helen’s wishes there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at a later date. If desired memorial donation may be made to the Mount Pleasant Library 120 South Church Street Mt. Pleasant PA 15666.
