As one of a gang of very young friends, I fondly remember when Mr. McNamara helped us build a tree house in the woods behind his home. It was higher and lasted longer than all of the others, but most importantly, he ensured that it had sturdy rungs. Much later, when we became young men, his kindness, advice and encouragement helped us find another kind of sure footing... on the paths of life's journeys. My deepest sympathies go to my very close friends, The McNamara Family --- Tom Kolat, American Fork, Utah.

My condolence to the family & friends of John McNamara. No doubt he will be sadly missed yet, fondly remembered. As you cherish the many memories of Mr. McNamara, may you be comforted by the promise at Revelation 21:4-5. Jehovah God guarantees that He will soon eliminate death & sorrow. May God’s word & the thoughts & prayers of others strengthen you each day, as we await the fulfillment of his promises! (Acts 24:15; Isaiah 26:19)
