John Ott

February 1, 1966 - October 21, 2022

John F. Ott graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1987, to work with his father at the funeral home. John purchased the facility from Joseph F. Ott in 1995.
He served on the boards of two community education committees; Partners in Progress and Excellence in Education. He was a member of Norwin Chamber of Commerce and the Norwin Rotary's Norwin Golf Outing Committee raising over $75,000 toward scholarships for local children. Over the years, he had sponsored various sports teams, children's activities and church functions.

John married Susan D. Dubaich in 1993, they have two sons, John Morgan Ott and Adam Troy Ott.

Jeffery T. Hite

Supervisor

Jeff and his wife, Candice, reside in Greensburg. They are the proud parents of four daughters, Ella, Ava, Nina and Lila. Jeff is a licensed funeral director, graduating from PIMS in 2007, as well as being the son of Melanie and Nat Pantalone. He is the owner of Hite Monument Company and is also the Vice President of Operations for Educational Staffing Services in Western PA / Source4Teachers, having a degree in Early Childhood Education from St. Vincent College.

Susan Ott

Owner of Ott Funeral Home, Inc.

Susan married John in August 1993 and they have two sons, John who lives in West Palm Beach, FL with his wife Joy and Adam who lives in Pittsburgh, PA and is a dental student at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine.

Judi Harkins

Operations Assistant

Judi  began working at the Joseph F. Ott Funeral Home, Inc. in 2022. Her duties include office management and clerical work, including the acquisition of all certificates and permits. Judi  handles many of the day to day activities and assists with viewings and funerals. Judi and her partner Ed live in Westmoreland City  and  enjoy spending time with her son Marc and his wife Michelle and granddaughter Sarah.
